Here's one of my poster sketches, but I'm submitting it as a finished Deviation because I spent a lot of time on it and I really like the way it came out. In case you didn't know, I'm not pro-death.
This is an ink wash drawing colored digitally, but I spent much more time on the drawing than I did coloring it. This is my favorite of my sketches thus far, and I feel I have the most hand in it.
Theme:
"Everything Human is Our Concern" for some French thing.
This is beautifully and wonderfully done. And I happen to be pro-life myself (I'm a filipina but I REFUSE to eat balut (in case you havent watched Fear Factor which is the only American show that featured a Filipino dish, that's boiled duck egg with the cooked fetus. Not that this is showing my side of the abortion issue but it's a start >> ). I find it sad how people wanna end a baby just because of mindless sex or "Oh, the baby's not a boy/girl, I'll just kill it" or "The mom will die if we dont do it!" when in reality mothers RAREly die in labor and abortion just raises the risks. But enough of that. I really like how this picture is done. I'm favin it.
Wow.. o.o;; That's.. just.. wow. I mean, really. This is flippin' amazing! I believe I'm a pro-life personuu.. thing. DOTDOT!! But seriously, this is powerful.
And argh at abortion!! Abortion is subtle murder. However, under certain circumstances I think it's okay.. Like if the person is raped or under 18.. I guess..

I notice how people try to dehumanize the fetus. There is a very fuzzy line from when something starts living... a lot of people would say that its not a person until its born. How then would they be able to defend partial birth abortion? By pointing the "women's rights" finger... but what about the little man or woman IN the womb? Don't they have a right to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness?
It all rolls back down to how you define humanity. Abortion supporters don't look at the images or picked off limbs and caved in heads. Some are more worried about the picked off limbs and caved in heads of people who are trying to kill everyone else. Who has more rights? The sinner or the soul who has never sinned?

I think sticking it out is important for women under 18 who were not "raped." If all you had to do was have a doctor take someone/thing out of you, it wouldn't really be much of a ward to not get preggers again. I would think children of children have higher adoption rates than children of adults. I don't know if I support circumstancial abortion or not, it seems kind of cruel to let it slide just because the kid is going to be a little slow... If the developing fetus or the mother was going to die in the occurence of pregancy, then maybe there is something to circumstancial abortion, but that is extremely rare... about as rare as medical conditions resulting from the late-development abortion procedures.
