"We were going through storage and Erin almost threw out the doll you used to play with, but I stopped her. She's definitely seen better days, so I can understand why Erin would mistake her for junk. I'll be holding on to her, of course. I looked up the toy maker who I got her from and he's still around.
Long story short, I had one made for you. I know its not the original "Grrgrr," but I'm sure it's to your liking. I doubt Grrgrr would have made the journey even in a scroll case. Regard, General Lander"
(Lander had a doll made in the likeness of his son's elven wife as a peace offering, though he would never come out and say he was sorry for how he treated him. Tarramin had a doll like it when he was a child in the likeness of his mother Gretta. He couldn't take Gretta with him when he started his training at age 13 for various reasons, and she became bleached by the window then mildewy in the attic. Lander found her going through his old things for baby toys, since he and his new wife are planning on having children. It probably reminded him that she wouldn't want him to treat their son the way he had been.)
